My Instagram photo above probably says it all.
Like many of you my trusted BlackBerry's been frozen … unresponsive … stuck … in digital petrification mode for what feels like days. (Even if, according to my Twitter feed, it's really only been 17 hours.) I know it's Day Three for many of you around the world, so to you, my condolences.
These rolling global outages couldn't come at a worse time for Research In Motion, which is being shadowed under the fast rise of other mobile devices.
We're hearing from lots of people who've not only been mildly inconvenienced, but from people whose businesses have been affected by the outage. And according to our friend Jane Taber at the Globe, the outage has sent MPs and Hill staffers ‘back to 1985'. They actually had to pick up a telephone to communicate, can you imagine?
Not surprisingly, there were more than a few Tweeps responding to the news with a sense of humour -- and some with dark sarcasm.

- Dear Blackberry, Thanks for honoring Steve Jobs' death with silence for 3 continuous days. Sincerely, #Apple & #iPhone
Turns out even he was caught off guard by the attention:

Make sure you tune in tonight, our John Vennavally-Rao will give us the latest on this story -- and he's hitting the streets to find out how BlackBerry users are coping.
In the meantime, tell me your reaction to this outage. Is it making you seek other mobile alternatives?
