Ten residents have until Friday to vacate St. Mary's Villa, a senior's home in Humboldt. However, the Saskatoon Health Region says it is working with the families to ensure the move goes smoothly.

There are problems with the floor in one wing of St. Mary's Villa, so some residents are being moved out, and others moved to a different part of the villa.

The health region says it needs the people out quickly, so renovations can begin to accommodate moving people around. It's estimated to cost about $250,000.

Some families have objected, saying the move is too quick, but the health region says they are doing everything they can to make it work.
