Launched in 2011, the MP4-12C is McLaren's first solo project since the McLaren F1 which launched in 1992. Powered by a 3.8-Litre V8 Twin Turbo engine, this orange machine is fast. -
Leather upholstery adorns the inside. Unlike the first McLaren, the McLarne F1, this MP4-12C comes only with two race seats, not three. -
Twenty inch wheels in the front help to keep this rear-wheel drive sports car planted on the road. McLaren logo and name adorn every inch of the car. -
Everything is designed with aerodynamics in mind. From the doors, to the placement of the dual exhaust. -
The MP4-12C steering wheel has minimal controls, making it easy to drive, unlike other super cars. -
To save on weight, carbon fibre is used almost everywhere on the MP4-12C, including the engine cover. -
A name plate on the inside of the driver door shows where the MP4-12C was built. -
An airbrake rear-spoiler helps to slow the car down. The brake lights are hidden in the design to make look likes moving, even when its not. -
A shifter is non-existent in this car, as the only traditional controls found on the 7-speed transmission is Drive, Neutral and Reverse. The gears are controlled by the Paddle Shifters located on the steering wheel. -
