The Ford Blue Party

On February 10, 2012, Ford Canada invited the general public out to The Blue Party, at The Liberty Grand, Artificats Room in Toronto, where they unveiled the 2013 Ford Escape, 2013 Shelby GT500, 2013 Focus ST and the 2013 Taurus SHO. -
Invitees could have their picture taken with the 2012 Ford Mustang Convertible, and have it shown on the big screen for all to see. -
Invitees mingle with Ford of Canada Staff around some of the 2012 Ford Lineup. -
2012 Ford Focus Electric. The pure electric version of the popular Focus. -
There's very little difference in the appearance of the Focus Electric versus the regular Focus. The Focus Electric is powered by Lithium Ion Batteries and uses green materials in its construction, like Soy based products, to make it lighter and have a lower carbon footprint. -
During the event, Ford had set up a hashtag, that if you tweeted out something with #fordblue, it would show up on one of the screens set up, no matter what you said. -
2012 Ford Focus. Completely redesigned for 2012, this car comes powered by 2.0L 4 Cylinder and can be equipped with three different types of transmissions - 5 speed manual, 6 speed automatic Powershift, and 6 speed automatic Powershift with SFE - which stands for Super Fuel Efficient. Its average fuel economy is 7.2L/100km in the city and 4.8L/100km on the highway -
Invitees had a chance to play with slot cars, for their chance to win prizes at the end of the night. -
They also had an opportunity to play some Foosball for fun or for prizes. -

The new 2013 Shelby GT500 Convervitble is unveiled -
Powered by a 5.8L V8 engine with a Supercharger and Intercooler. The Shelby GT500 can produce up to 650HP. -

The 2013 Focus ST is unveiled -
Powered by a 2L Four Cylinder engine, the Focus ST is one of the more powerful models in the Focus Lineup. with 247 HP. To keep you safe, they've fitted the car with RECARO seats -
Like the GT500, ST badges decorate the Focus ST. -
The 2013 Taurus SHO is unveiled -
Powered by a 2L EcoBoost engine, the SHO is not only a powerful car, but very fuel efficient. -
With the sportier styling, there is still more than enough room in the back for passengers -

Still in preproduction, the Escape shares many of the same toys that you find on its larger siblings, the Explorer and Edge, including an automatic lift tailgate -

New safety features including Active Park Assist and Blind Spot Information system all at the reach of the driver. -
After the cars were unveiled, the invitees and Ford of Canada Executives mingled and the party continued on with music provide by DJ Jr. Flo and Momentum Live
