  • Pop music icon and actress Whitney Houston died Saturday afternoon at the age of 48. Houston was one of the best-selling artists in the 1980s and 1990s before finding success in movies such as 'The Bodyguard' and 'Waiting to Exhale.' She died on the eve of the music industry's biggest night -- the annual Grammy Awards.
