Youth pleads not guilty in Ethan Yellowbird shooting

A young offender charged in connection with the slaying of a five-year-old boy has pleaded not guilty.
The teen who appeared in court Wednesday was just 13 at the time of the shooting. He has been remanded into custody and will be back in court for a bail hearing next month.
Three people have been charged in the fatal shooting that happened on July 11,2011.
Yellowbird was killed after being struck in the head by a bullet during an alleged drive by shooting while sleeping in his house on the Samson Cree Nation.
