Driver killed in fiery crash on Sea-to-Sky Hwy: reports

A crash on the Sea-to-Sky Highway left one driver trapped in a fiery vehicle Wednesday morning, and there are reports the unidentified person died at the scene.

The single-vehicle collision occurred near Porteau Cove at around 11 a.m., igniting what looks to be a pickup truck in flames.

Firefighters arrived and managed to extinguish the vehicle, but there are unconfirmed reports the driver and sole occupant was unable to make it out alive.
