Don't look now, but half the country is enjoying a holiday today -- while you get ready for work.

This is Family Day in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Ontario; Islander Day in Prince Edward Island, and Louis Riel Day in Manitoba.

B.C. residents will have to wait until next year for a mid-winter break.

Premier Christy Clark has promised this province will celebrate Family Day on the third Monday in February, starting in 2013.
